Information used by the store

When you use the store, we may process the photograph you upload, its filename and image dimensions, your crop and print choices, and the information you provide for your account or order. Order information includes contact, billing and delivery details needed to process and fulfill the order.

Photographs and production

Uploaded order originals are stored outside the public website folder. Authorized store staff can access them for production. We preserve the original image and save the approved crop as separate instructions. To fulfill an order, the production provider may receive the image, print specifications and delivery information needed to produce and ship your print. We use Shiny Prints for metal-print production.

Shipping, payments and tax

The supplier shipping calculator receives the destination state, print dimensions and quantities; it does not receive your name, email, street address or photograph for a shipping quote. Payment and tax services process the information needed for their respective functions when those services are connected. Card entry and processing are handled by the connected payment provider rather than by the photo-upload tool.

Browser projects and cookies

Saved design projects are stored in your browser on your device. Clearing browser data can remove them. The store uses cookies and session information for the shopping bag, account sign-in and security. WordPress.com/Jetpack services may process site activity and technical information under Automattic’s privacy policy.

Retention

Unattached uploaded originals are scheduled for cleanup after seven days. Files attached to orders are retained for production and order support. Order and account records may also be retained for business recordkeeping. Keep a copy of your own original photograph.

Your requests

You may request access to or deletion of personal information through Alumichrome’s customer-service contact shown on the shipping and damage policy. Some order records may need to be retained for recordkeeping or unresolved order support. Browser projects can be removed using the project controls or your browser’s site-data settings.
